Shameeka E. Reid
With over 15 years of experience in mental health, behavioral services, and administrative leadership, I bring a deep passion for helping individuals and communities thrive. I specialize in clinical assessment, team supervision, and the development of person-centered treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health and substance use challenges.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse roles ranging from Clinical Assistant Director and Assessor to Group Home Supervisor and Office Manager. I’ve provided direct counseling services, facilitated group therapy, led administrative teams, and helped organizations meet compliance and licensing standards. My background also includes expertise in risk management, human resources, crisis response, and innovative program development.
What sets me apart is my ability to lead with empathy while balancing the operational demands of high-volume clinical settings. I have successfully supported teams through training, mentoring, and collaborative supervision, ensuring quality care and continuity of services. I am deeply committed to equity and access in behavioral health care, with a history of serving underserved populations across Georgia and Alabama.
I hold a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Troy University. I’ve completed my clinical training and am currently pursuing licensure in psychology. I am HIPAA and Relias certified and a proud member of Psi Chi and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Whether I’m conducting assessments, leading teams, or helping families navigate mental health systems, my mission is always the same: to uplift, support, and restore. I believe that healing starts with compassion and that systems must be built around the dignity of every person served.
